As a grassroots organization, our strength is in the involvement of our membership. Your membership makes it easier for others to home educate by identifying with SHBE as we negotiate with school boards and the Department of Learning, and makes our annual Convention possible!
Numbers DO count!
Additional Notes:
Our membership is a family membership. While you are asked to provide a first and last name for the primary contact in your home, all family members residing with you are included in and benefit from your annual SHBE membership.
Be sure to use the same email address here as you wish to use for your future login to this site. Check your email to activate your account and set up a password after your membership payment processes. You will receive an email confirmation of your membership.
Payments are auto-renewing for your convenience. If you do not wish to have your membership auto-renew, please be aware that you can stop your automatic payments at any time from your account page (even immediately after paying!) and your membership will continue until the end of the paid membership period of one year. To update your payment details or cancel future payments, please create an account using the same email (our system will prompt you to create a password after verifying your email). After you log in, you can visit our Supporter Portal to view past donations, current memberships, and your future payment date.
By processing your membership payment to SHBE, it is assumed you are supportive of SHBE's Mission and Goals*: "The purpose of SHBE is to provide information and assistance to any and all Home-Based Educators in Saskatchewan, to represent and advocate for all SHBE members, to promote home based education in Saskatchewan, to foster a positive homeschool community, and to establish a positive political and social environment for Saskatchewan Home-Based Educators. SHBE Supports the rights of children to receive a parent-directed home-based education, including parents' rights to determine methodology, content, delivery, and assessment, with the lowest possible government regulation, policy restriction, monitoring, reporting, and unsolicited involvement."
